Exeter Pride 2021: Important Announcement
22 May 2021 – EVENT CANCELLED!
EXETER Pride trustees have announced that they have decided not to proceed with the proposed re-arranged Exeter Pride event, which was scheduled first for Saturday, May 2 2020 and then for Saturday, September 26, 2020.
Trustees said that due to the daily changing situation caused by the Covid-19 outbreak and upon Government and Public Health England it had taken the decision to cancel the September event to ensure the continued health and well-being of everyone in the community.

RAINBOW MARCH STARTS: 11am Cathedral Green (Assemble 10:30am)
RAINBOW MARCH ENDS: Approx 12pm in Northernhay Gardens
RAINBOW MARCH:
The march will begin at 11am and will include community groups, firefighters, police, students, trade union and business LGBT+ groups plus individuals.
The event will include a colourful rainbow flag march through Exeter, and volunteers are wanted to help carry the enormous 50-metre rainbow flag. The march will include music, dancers, bikes and much more. Representatives from community groups and organisations as well as individuals will also be taking part to show their support.
NORTHERNHAY GARDENS:
Entertainment will include live bands and cabaret acts on the stage and there will be a marketplace with more than 85 stalls, including many food stalls, Main bar, Trade Unions, local businesses, and charities, along with information and advice from local, national, and international organisations, as well as demonstrations and fun activities.
Entertainment on the main stage will continue throughout the afternoon and include many local acts. The main stage will close at 6pm.
Rougemont Gardens will host the Family zone, with many children’s and family-friendly activities.
PHOENIX:
As usual Exeter Phoenix will continue to host daytime and evening events.
There will be the usual bar with music on the Terrace with some daytime activities taking place.
The evening events at Exeter Phoenix will be entry by wristband only (£5) with all proceeds going to Exeter Pride.
